Pramono-Rano Set to Roll Out 40 Work Programs

After being inaugurated by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace, Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo and Vice Governor Rano Karno immediately work to develop Jakarta.

"What is lacking in Jakarta, let's solve it together,"

Both held a plenary meeting with all leaders of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the Jakarta Provincial Government at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (2/20).

They were accompanied by Jakarta Secretary Marullah Matali and Jakarta Deputy Governor in Industry, Trade, and Transportation Joko Agus Setyono.

In the meeting, Pramono conveyed that there are 40 work programs that will be used as a reference for him and Vice Governor Rano in 100 working days. These work programs have been compiled based on the result of intense communication between Jakarta Provincial Government and transition team.

"I am grateful for the good cooperation and hospitality of the Jakarta Provincial Government towards the transition team, so that we have 40 detailed work programs. These programs will be reference for me and Vice Governor to work fast in 100 days. Besides, we will also break down these 40 work programs thus we can carry them out together ," he stated.

He hopes that by taking fast action together with all OPDs, all problems in Jakarta can be resolved one by one.

"What is lacking in Jakarta, let's solve it together without looking back. I am a forward-looking person. We must also cooperate with central government thus Jakarta's programs are align with them. Let's work together swiftly for the betterment of Jakarta city and its citizens," he asserted.

Therefore, Pramono admitted that he would hold limited meeting with leaders of Jakarta OPDs and BUMDs regularly every week. The meeting will discuss various problems that occur in Jakarta so as to quickly find solutions and be followed up in the field.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno expects good cooperation with all ranks within Jakarta Provincial Government by having the same understanding, namely developing Jakarta City as the center of national economic growth and transforming into a global city.

"I hope together we can develop Jakarta and make its citizens prosperous. Therefore, we will discuss with OPD leaders to map the development programs of Jakarta," he said.

With strong synergy and swift action from day one, it is hoped that Jakarta will undergo positive changes and development that benefits all its citizens.
